Cabernet Sauvignon, Schreyer Vineyard, 2021

Tasting notes | Our Schreyer Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful purple-red hue with inky depth. The aromatics are intense and concentrated with earthy notes and deep blueberry and black raspberry notes. Aromas of dried fruit leather, currants, all-spice, clove, forest floor, black pepper, cassis, sandalwood and cola really fill out the nose. The palate is filled with dusty black fruit notes, clove, more pepper and dried fruit leather. The tannins are soft and well integrated but pleasant and the wine finishes with a nice fruitiness and lingering depth on the palate. It is absolutely delicious right now but will also continue to age quite well for 5-7 years.
