Sparkling Brut Nature, Estate Vineyard, 2020
Tasting notes | Tasting Notes: This wine is one of my absolute favorites. In the glass it is pale yellow in color with just the slightest hint of any hue that gives away that it is made of Zinfandel. The bubbles are so beautiful and intense from the long aging. Aromatically, there are notes of white raspberry, slight orange marmalade, lemon chiffon, toasted hazelnuts and slight buttery pie crust notes. The palate is filled with bright fruit notes and lots of white and yellow floral notes on the front. The finish is so balanced with slightly toasty notes and a long and lingering finish. The no dosage really allows the fruit to shine through in a beautiful way. This wine is delicious and will lay down quite well for a longer aging.
