Meritage, Incantation, 2019
Tasting notes | The best part of making a blend is bringing together the uniqueness of each varietal and making the whole greater than each of the individual parts. Our 2019 Incantation is no exception to this. Aromas of black cherry, wet earth, tobacco leaves, black currants, and cassis, roasted strawberry jam, cloves, all-spice and black peppercorns. The palate is equally complex: it leans heavily in the beautiful red fruit notes with layer upon layer of red berries and currants. The texture of this wine is stunning with chewy and present tannins, but they are quite well integrated and feel smooth and well balanced. The finish is lingering and nuanced and leaves you wanting another sip.
